Details

Difficulty

• Changed enemy hero's boost.
  • Previously : the enemy hero would get 3 bonus levels per difficulty level above difficulty 5. (at difficulty level 8, the enemy hero would be lvl 9)
  • Now : the enemy hero will get 50% bonus HP per extra levels. At level 8, a 150% hp bonus will be granted. (This way, heroes like phantom will not one-shot anymore early game at high levels.)
• Difficulty 11 has been revamped :
• There are now twice more enemy troops
• The Dark Mesmer, a new special Hero, will always be chosen as the enemy hero. This non playable character is very strong.
• The Helper is now present to assist you during this final battle, but unlike other difficulties her HP can go below 1, meaning that she can die.

Global Rebalance

• Heroes will get less stats bonus when leveling up
• Overall Heroes attack damage reduced
• Heroes will unlock extra skills according to their Evolution Level (EL). Base Evolution level (EL) is 1, and it goes up by 1 everytime you build a merchant, hence max Evolution level (EL) is 3.
• Hero respawn health changed from 30 HP to maximum health.
• Unit gold given upon death -20%
• Non-hero units will now give 50% gold upon death to their team.
• Non hero chasing range improved from 150 to 220

Blessings

There are now Blessings in single player. Blessings will give bonus and malus and can be picked with any hero. There are 3 of them :

• Blessing of the Turtle :
  • Grants +5% base range
  • grants +10% base HP to every units
  • Grants +30% base HP to every structures
  • Base units speed -10%
  • Structures cost +10%
• Blessing of the Moon :
  • Grants 5% lifesteal per hits (does not work against structures)
  • Grants 10% extra base damage
  • Base HP -15% for both units and structures
• Blessing of the Wind :
  • Grants +5% base attackspeed Grants +15% base movespeed Grants +20% base range to healing fountains Units creation time slowed by 5%
  • Grants +5% base attackspeed Grants +15% base movespeed Grants +20% base range to healing fountains Units creation time slowed by 5%
  • Grants +5% base attackspeed Grants +15% base movespeed Grants +20% base range to healing fountains Units creation time slowed by 5%

NB : Factions buffs are also applied to heroes.

Hero changes

Every hero has been rebalanced.

• Radiance, the Arbalest
  • Base attack reduced from [10-10] to [8-8]
  • Attack speed slowed from .9s to 1s
  • Base HP increased from 30 to 70
  • HP gain decreased from 30 to 10
  • Green spirit now requires EL2
  • Red spirit now requires EL3
• Lucius, the Frost Archer :
  • Base attacked reduced from [6-9] to [5-7]
  • At EL1, arrows won't bounce to another close target anymore. It now requires EL2.
  • At EL3, an extra bounce is granted : the arrow will damage 3 enemies.
  • Removed passive skill "Snow Habit"
  • Frost arrows are now affected by weather. On snowy map, arrow slow duration improved by +50%. On lava map, arrow slow duration is reduced by 50%.
• Efraim, the Replicant :
  • Base HP reduced from 80 to 50
  • Base attack decreased from [5-5] to [3-3]
  • Base range decreased from 130 to 110
  • Attack gain per levels increased from [0-0] to [1-1]
  • Illusions created from the Active Skill will now have the same current HP as efraim.
  • Swords bonus damage reduced from 10% to 5%
  • Swords bonus damage won't trigger anymore when the target's health is under 15%
  • Passive Skill "Knowledge" renamed "Replication"
  • Passive Skill no longer works against enemy heroes
  • Passive skill's Illusions will now follow their creator instead of not moving and they will attack the creator's target. Replicants will keep standing still
  • Fixed sword attack time decreasing like Arbalest
• Godrik, The Tank
  • Base HP improved from 300 to 500
  • HP gain reduced from 250 to 200
  • Speed improved from 50 to 65
  • Defense of Steel : base duration increased from 10 to 20.
  • Reworked Mirror : it now requires EL3 and will be activated by default. Like before, it will throw back every attack at its sources. After 10 consecutive attacks received, the Mirror will break and will require 10 seconds to turn back on. If an attack is received while the shield is recovery mode, the refill timer will reset.
• Lanaya, the Mesmer
  • Base attack reduced from [7-10] to [6-7]
  • Range improved from 80 to 82
  • Base speed improved from 100 to 112
  • Speed gain reduced from 2.3 to 1.7
  • Gift of Gaben doesn't give twice more gold at the beginning of the game anymore
  • Charm :
    • EL1 : Charm does not heal anymore nor provides an attack speed boost.
    • EL2 : Charm now heals. (both enemy and allies)
    • EL3 : Charm now boosts attack speed by 50%.
  • Added a new skill : Awakening. Under special circumstances, The Mesmer can turn herself into The Great Mesmer. The Great Mesmer is the strongest hero in the game.
    • Current and maximum HP improved
    • Attack range +20
    • Speed +25
    • Attack time halved
    • Has a Green Spirit (auto-heal)
• Eoniz, the Phantom
  • Base speed reduced from 145 to 120
  • Speed gain reduced from 2.4 to 2
  • Base Attack reduced from [10, 50] to [10-30]
  • Attack gain reduced from [0-25] to [1-10]
  • Base Health improved from 30 to 50
  • Stealth now requires EL2.
  • Removed Patency skill : Eoniz cannot walk through walls anymore.
  • Added a new skill : Sonic Shadow. Eoniz can now teleport anywhere at anytime. Requires EL3.
  • Reworked Assassination. Now called Global Assassination, once triggered every ally units will get a new version of their current weapon, which will improve their attack by 50%. Works only once per ally, does not affect Phantom himself. Works on the King. Phantom will be revealed if he was in stealth mode, and his next attack will be his current attack * 10. The inflicted damage will cap at 5000. Cooldown from 50 to 180.
• Nirv, the Wizard
  • base attack reduced from [22-30] to [10-15]
  • Attack gain reduced from [1-4] to [1-3]
  • Attack speed improved from 1.7 to 1.25
  • Speed gain reduced from 1.9 to 1.2
  • Reworked active skill Time Stop : the Wizard now slows down time for every enemies for 15 seconds. Allies are not affected.
    • At EL1, time is 0.5 time slower. (for example, an attack that requires 2 seconds will take 3)
    • At EL2, time is 1.5 times slower.
    • At EL3, time is 3 times slower.
    The Wizard no longer gains move or attack speed during that time. Cooldown : 180. Duration Gain : 0.25.
  • Dispersion : Damage reflected from 30% to : 10% (EL1) / 25% (EL2) / 40% (EL3)
• New Hero : Lenneth the Valkyrie.

  Active Skill : Summon Einherjar

  Spawns Einherhars next to the king.
  - EL1: spawns 10 level 2 soldiers.
  - EL2: 5 level 3 soldiers are spawned + 1 gold soldier.
  - EL3: 1 divine archer is summoned.

  Passive skill : True Sight

  Can see and attack invisible units. Can see everyone's HP, including structures.

  Special Weapon : Holy Bow

  Deals 50% of base damage as area damage upon impact. Cannot perform critical hits.

Other balance changes

• Defenders :
  • Defender #9 : HP reduced from 99 999 to 35 000
  • Defender #8 : HP reduced from 50 000 to 15 000
  • Defender #7 : HP reduced from 25 000 to 9999
  • Defender #6 : HP reduced from 9999 to 7000
  • Defender #5 : HP reduced from 6400 to 5000
  • Defender #4 : HP reduced from 3200 to 2800
• Hall of Defense : Base spawn delay from 1 to 1.13
• Wizard Tree : Produces 2 wizards in the Volcano map.
• Healing Foutain : Heal decreased from 30 to 25
• Healing Foutain II :
  • Price raised from 2500 to 3000
  • Is now a unique structure : only 1 per teams allowed
  • Range improved from 100 to 135

Multiplayer

• Fixed "pause" menu sometimes not going away after resuming the game
• Fixed game going very slow when a device is much more powerful than another

Misc / Bug fixes

• New map : Volcano.
• Changed difficulty 11 music. The previous difficulty 11 music is now the Volcano map theme.
• Particles will also pause when the game is paused
• Slighly changed Classic Map's graphics
• Fixed Hero Selection music not being affected by music settings
• Fixed Replicant's defenders using arbalests
• Fixed heroes repeating twice the same sentence (very rare)
• Number of healed HP will now be displayed when using Charm skill

• Fixed main menu background image not appearing correctly on some devices
